BPT drive trany conversion

does any one here know if i can fit the bpt trany in to my 1994 escort. it is a AWD trany and i dont know if the dif would fit with the drive shaft and so on so forth
could any one help me out here and how hard would it be

It would most likely be a long drawn out process...ive been looking to do something of the same nature with my GT-R Tranny in my escort to me it looks like we'd have to rig some mounts for the trans to mount to the car properly, then we'd have to find some way to get the driveshaft to the back...most likely entailing getting some sort of custom rack for the steering and also having to cut some of the firewall and floor away under the car all the way back to where the fun would begin with mounting the differential we would have to locate along with the driveshaft oh and did I mention we probably will have to use a custom gas tank instead of the stock. SO I have came to the conclusion that I am not going to do this but it would be awesome if someone did. So keep me posted if you are the one who is going to. I have other plans for a different tranny. Good Luck, and keep me updated.

hey Justin i have no bean on this sight for a wile and i just got your message about the AWD trans conversion. i am not going to do it i got some information of another sight and turns out that u need a lot of mix and mach stuff. but there is one question that i could not get answer. do u know if the GTX trans (AWD) can be ran on just 2 wheels. some one told me that it could and he is knowledgeable when it come to these thing but i just cant help thinking that he is wrong this time. help me out if u know any thing about this and if your dont still right me back just so i know. i have bean trying to obtain this information for quite some time. thanks
