Usually you can call the number on the ticket and find out. That or the cop gave you a sheet with a bunch of violations and their prices. I dont think you'll lose your license if its your first offense.

i dont know about georgia, but in arizona your first ticket you can go to defensive driving school to eleminate the ticket.

And you can do this once every 2 years, after the first ticket

Well one slow down. You dont want to get pulled over to many times for speeding. After your first offense you can get your license suspended for speeding. second take Driving school and try to fight the ticket. Remember if you fight the ticket do these 3 things.
1.) Be extremly polite. (No slang words to btw)
2.) Dress Nice
3.) Bring a parent or a lawyer.

Your liscense is pretty much gone. My brother was doing about the same amount over and he was 20 at the time and they tried taking his liscense for 90 days(it was reduced to 15). My other friend was 17 and doing 17 over and lost his liscense for 90 days. This is in Pennsylvania. But being 17, it is most likely going to be suspended.

It's gonna cost alot, even more on future insurance hikes, and you may get your license suspended as others have said. Plead not guilty, dress up, bring a parent to court, and plead stupidity. Don't make up BS excuses, the judge deals with 25 similar kids a day. Be different and tell him something he doesn't always hear: the Truth. If you show you take it seriously enough to dress up and bring a parent, he may just let you go with a warning or reduced infraction.
