87 CV Rear Shock Question

I'm changing out the rear shocks on my 87 CV,the new shocks that I bought do not have a horizontal stud which goes into the lower shock mount,only a mount for a stud to go into.My question is: is the lower shock stud on the original rear shocks Removable,and Reusable on the New Rear Shocks?

Yes, usually, so long as it's not damaged. Usually good new shocks come with all mounting hardware. OEM ones are quite reasonable too, if they're still available for that year, which I think they are.
