LS/Vtec

I hear everyone talking about LS/Vtec. First , what exactly is used for this setup. I mean what block, what head, etc. Second, would it be a good build for turbo.

B18B block....GSR or B16A head.....can be built for boost......

so should I just use the gsr head anyways. I heard they are not as good as the B16 head when it come to turbo. Also should I try to get an Ls tranny or would something else be better like Type-R or the gsr tranny.

just get a GSR because an LS/VTEC isn't the easiest thing in the world to do....and if you're going to build for boost, you may want to just get the block and stuff it w/ new parts that can handle the power.....

yeah i have heard ls/vtecs dont last as long something to do with over heating do to water jackets not lining up but im not to sure as i never done one yet. just build a ls or gsr motor
