Where is the washer pump on a 2000 Intrigue? My daughter's quit working and I will have to try and fix it when she comes home at Christmas. Thanks for location info and any ideas.

I'm pretty sure that its not frozen from the cold temps we're having, when she was home from college last the reservoir was filled with the winter washer fluid. She said it does't pump anything and that there is no noise when the switch is pushed but the wipers do work. Is the pump in the washer fluid tank or is it mounted somewhere else? I don't remember seeing it anywhere when I've been under the hood?

it's probably under the plastic covers that are directly under the wipers. I would bring the car inside if it's around freezing outside and get the fluid warm. I bet you it still works when warm. If that's true change the fluid to the purple stuff or the stuff that's good to below -40 deg F.
Those plastic covers are kind of hard to get off. Most of them are plastic expansion screws. They may come off, but I had to drill into them and then they would pull out. The first time they actually came off ok -I had wiper problems at one time and the covers have been probably taken off about 6 times.

Your washer pump is located in the washer fluid container. In order to access this it is helpful to remove the right front wheel. Then remove the splash guard. You can then see the washer container and the pump is mounted onto the bottom outside. Mine quit working a few months ago. I took it apart and cleaned it up and it works fine, but the pumps are fairly cheap from the dealer so you may just want to purchase a new one and slap it in.
