I wanted to replace my horn, but I can not figure out how to access it. Does anyone know how to get to the damn thing? It looks like i either have to pull the entire radiator or pull the entire front end of my truck off to get to it.

I do not see a way to only pull one of the grills to access it which seems logical.

any easy way to get to it??

Hi,
When I bought my 97 GMC 1500, I thought it only had one horn because it sounded wimpy and I could only find one near the battery.
But I saw one in the junkyard and noticed the other horn in the center of the grille.
I read the shop manual and found the front piece with the grille and mounting came off fairly easily. Some bolts were hidden inside the parking lights.

Sometimes you can replace the center horn by reaching up from underneath and get the horn out.
