Engine keeps flooding

Ok well a few weeks ago i posted a bunch of posts on here on my 89 cherokee striaght 6 4.0L, not starting. We figured out that it just keeps getting flooded. What could be causing this to happen? Could it possibly be the fuel pressure regulator or any sort of vaccum with that, i ask this becuase over summer i just replaced it and i might have not installed it correctly.

Sorry but no...i took it into a mechanic and they had it for a couple weeks and then just gave me a call and said it was runnin fine now but they don't kno what the did.

Doesn't sound like much of a mechanic.

I'd also check for good coil output. A weak ign coil can let it flood when it sits out in the cold. You should be able to get a good blue spark to snap at least 1/2".

Have you had the battery disconnected at anytime?? If so you need to disconnect it again and let it sit for a few minutes then crack it,shut it off and crack it again....Similar problem I had....
