Problems with my Prelude!!!

Yesterday it was the first time (and also the first real chance) that I TRIED to drive top-speed with my `00 Prelude but when I revved it to the redline it was just driving 220km/h (thatīs about 129 mph). According to Honda the top-speed should be about 228km/h (134mph)!! The other problem is that it seems to use too much gas. Sometimes I need 60l of gas for only 175- 205 miles.
What can I do or what can be wrong/ damaged???
Iīve noticed that my stock tires (Michelin Pilots) are already worn off a lot and that they donīt give me a lot of grip and traction but I dunno if it could be because of that!? And Iīve put some new full synthetic oil into the engine some days ago from a gas brand called "Fina". Itīs a brand name but also nothing special.
Or is it possible that it is because of the K&N drop-in filter???
I really donīt have got any idea but these are the only things I can think of why itīs like that.
Pleaaaaase help me out and sorry for my english!!

the top speed is based on radar monitoring... not the speedo. speedos are incredibly inaccurate since it's relative to your tranny rpm. slightly differing tyre diameters go a long way in affecting your speedometer reading at higher speeds.

check your alignment to correct any tyre wear issues.

as for gas mileage, it may be your driving habits that are reducing the fuel economy. it's rated for 22mpg city, 27mpg highway... there's 16 gallons per tank, and i would assume if u filled up 60 litres, you're only using 13-14 gallons per fillup. (approx 4 litres per gallon) with that in mind, and combined with a heavy foot, your fuel economy is a bit low, but near normal for "spirited" driving.

try going a fillup while pussyfooting the gas and see how well you do before futher inspecting the fuel system.

I know that the speedo is inaccurate, but 8km (4,7 mph)? But itīs possible... Iīm using my stock rims with the stock tires so it canīt be because of a bigger wheel diameter.
My alignement is fine, too. I just thought that I might loose some topspeed because of the Michelin stock tires (worse in every way!) Iīm using in the moment!? But that was just an "idea".
Yes, youīre right! Normally Iīm not using the complete tank but even then it seems to be too much. Then it has to be my heavy foot.... :D
Is it possible that it is because of the oil they gave me at the gas station?

highly doubtful it's the oil. as for speedo, i've seen them off by 5mph at 60mph, and up to 10mph off at 150. they're horribly inaccurate.

try new tyres if you're not happy with them. i never liked michelin unless it was on an airplane.

The police made a nice "picture" of me and my car when was driving too fast some months ago and I was even slower than my speedo was showing me in that moment!
I dunno,.....I think Iīll visit my local dealer today to ask him if he has got any idea. Maybe reseting the ECU would help?

I took my Prelude to my local ex-Honda-dealer last friday and ask him what could be wrong. After Iīve told him that the former owner of my Prelude was an old man (Iīd guess between 60-70 years old) he said that itīs possible that he hasnīt driven it fast very often so that there might be a lot of "exhaust dirt" in my cat which might slow my car down.
Seems to be a reasonable answer to me but Iīm not a specialist or mechanic so is that possible? He advised me to go fast as often as possible especially on the "Autobahn" to burn the dirt out.
The engine itself seemed to be okay so....
