06 Sonata GL dash lights?

When I turn the key to the on position at night the dash lights come on even though the headlights are off. Is this normal? We just got the car and had a remote starter installed. I don't know whether this is normal or a problem with how the remote starter was connected. Thanks!

ErnieMy bro's new 2006 camry has the dash lights on all the time too. So I'm pretty sure its normal. I'm only saying that cuz its a 06 but if it was anything below that then nothing is normal, especially when it drives fine. lol
