I hydrolocked my engine w/ a CAI. Now it's been replaced with a JDM b16a2 by a guy my friend referred. When I got the car back the CAI filter was used as the intake, the cruise contol doesnt work anymore(the light comes on when I press the button though), the engine idles higher than before, & the check engine light always comes on. Also I see a nipple for the intake but I dont see the other hose thing that also sticks onto the intake from the engine. I have a AEM short ram on its way so i think i need the missing hose. Also I asked for a street or stage 1 clutch & he said he put an ACT stage 1 in & told me to talk it easy on the clutch for a bit to break it in but I dont feel much a a differance in shifting. I would like to get things back to normal so any input would be greatly appreciated. I am also lookin into replacing my dead alpine car alarm system still installed but not working with something pretty good, preferrably w/ good range. Thanks,

check the cruise vac lines and power to the unit.

the hose goes from the intake nimple to the valve cover nimple. a hose can be picked up for $2 at your local parts store.

your not going to feel much different by going with oem or close to oem spec clutches. break in period is 500 miles.
