2000 Grand Prix

hey, I have a 2000 grand prix, I went to start it, and it made a weird noise and then totally died! the batter seems fine, and the alarm light is blinking. Also, the shift indicator is blinking on the "park" position. Nothing works as far as lights and locks. No headlights, the whole shabang. Only the alarm light and the orange strip in the park position. Tried to jump it, no luck. I really don't think it's the battery. You can hear the relay switch clicking if you try to unlock the car. For some reason I think it has something to do with the alarm? any ideas anyone?!!!! help!!!

The alarm would be a first thought. try to disconnect it and then try to start up your car. lets start with that and we will go from there.
