Some new teeth for the DSM

Look what Mike and I got in the mail today! It wont be going in until spring, but we got it for a good price so it'll be getting some closet time. Its a 25" x 9.5" x 2.5" core from FP that we bought used from talont28 for $250. What do you guys think? It fills the grill PERFECTLY, man I cant wait for spring! :evillol:

Just out of curiosity, which route is better to take with the piping, the long route or the short route.

Yeah its a pretty nice FMIC. Some of the cooling fins were bent a little, but about 10 minutes and a screw driver fixed that problem.

What are the long and short routes?


We are going to wait until spring because in northern MN there is snow, and snow is bad! We get to go baja'ing through some pretty deep snow sometimes and after the first big snow storm Mikes grill was completely caked with snow. Also, its easier to work on cars in our driveways during the spring/summer.

The short routes are much better. IMO, to have a REAL short route you need to have the cooler side endtake facing the car (like slowboys), to avoid that extra U-bend. But any shorr route is better than the traditional route (look at greddy's awful design.)
