Favorite Generation?

I think I like the second generation the best, seeing as how my camaro is a second generation. What's yours and is there a specific reason?

Love em all, you cant hate one generation or say that one is better than the other because they all have their ups and downs and HP/TQ ratings according to that time frame.

third gen looks the best :)

i dont think i have ever seen a nice 2 gen. they're always beat up and rusted. and they were slow too.

Actually- my * 1978 Type LT* is super duper nice. On the outside anyways. The interior is a bit shabby. But for an LT it used to go pretty fast, pushed 140. I mean, I haven't really done any work on it, but I don't think it stills goes that fast. But, as soon as I get my digital camera, I'll take some pics. I don't really think that second gen gets that much attention. Nobody really talks about them. And actually, I haven't seen another second gen besides my own my whole life. I'm not sure if it's because (a) I don't get out enough or (b) they're pretty rare where I live. Probably a mixture of both.

They all look super duper nice. Camaros are just........amazing. But second gen gets no love? Come on you guys. My uncle has a 1986 RS I think...but he lost the keys and therefore, it hasn't moved/been started up for over three years...but it's nice looking. I may even end up owning it.

I'd take a nice '79 along with my '92...lol

oh yeah i forgot about him, his is pretty nice. and the second gens were pretty slow stock except for the first couple years. when the generation ended, the top model had a whopping 175 hp

Well, actually I'll have to change my mind... I love the second gens from 1970 to 1973... ESPECIALLY the split bumper ones... it's the 74-81 with that horrendous rubber bumper that turn me off :disappoin The later 2nd gen rear ends look kinda goofy to me as well.

I want a damn 3rd gen... I got the insurance settlement from my truck, and now I want to buy a 3rd gen IROC, 305, 5spd, decent body, etc. Brother's girlfriend's brother owns it, but I don't know if thats gonna happen. Plus its winter, so it would suck driving with that, but hot damn, I would have a camaro.

For the Camaro...only 3rd gen. For the Firebird/TA, 1969, 1973 & 74 (455SD) & 79 for sheer looks

ya i dont know if there is one person that doesnt like 1st gens...but it seams like everyone else changes on the other gens...and Savage....no i havnt really seen any fourth gen tail lights im usually looking right be side me or behind me....all the ones i have raced have the power to beat me but not the drivers...
