when spring comes around im going to have some fun. It snows up here so i cant drive it now. does anyone know if there is a problem with the trannys on the 94 formulas? i was wondering if there was any truble shooting because i havet rebuilt it yet (winter job). Anyone have some advice on what to do with the tranny and whats cheaper plz coment.

If the formula has the same tranny as the Trans-Am, that year has the electronic shift kit button. You can up the line pressure, or whatever they do to up that shift pressure, so it always shifts tight, basically you would have the shift kit button always. Aside from that, shift kit and replace worn clutches and plates and its a standard chevy tranny rebuild. Youll probably have to switch over to the poly. tranny mount afterward though as the factory ones pop all the time once you put a shift kit in them. I rebuilt mine at about 50K miles and it lasted until I sold it at 118K...
