2002 Jetta Blower Motor Out

My blower motor went out. Everything else works. Can anybody tell me if it is a fuse or the blower motor. How hard is it to replace the blower motor. I live in MN and it's freeeeeezing! Please help.

fuse is on fuse pannel driver side dash, its the one with the picture of a fan.. forget what #
