Thought it was time for me to introduce myself.

You already know my name. I'm married with one son, and I live in Ohio. I own a 1997 Grand Caravan SE which I got in 2002, and last month my husband bought a 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi.

Which leads me to a question that's been nagging me--what do SE, LXi, etc., mean exactly? I've heard of Sport, SE, LX, LE, LXi....

That depends pn the brand that is using them.

Most likely
SE = Sports Edition
LX = Luxury
LE = Luxury Edition but it can be describing something totally else, like I said its up to the brand, you are better off asking in the actual brands section here in AF, and maybe one of the regulars form that section can more directly answer your question.
