i want to upgrade the suspension for my car. this is just a daily driver and i only want better handling around town, so i was thinking of some tein lowerign springs and either KYG or koni nonadjustable shocks(i think theyre yellows?), but i also have rims from the 04 civic, the alloy rims, and they are bigger than stock wheels on a 95 dx. im just wondering, is there anyway to know for sure how this will work out? the teins are supposed to lower the car abt 2 inches, but i dont know if thisll cause rubbing while driving, or just while taking turns. i want to know if this will work before i spend the money on the springs. any advice?

Well I have 1.75 F and 1.5 R on my 96 with 8" tires and it doesnt rub so I think you shoud be ok. 2" might be pushing it though.

do you know what springs will lower it just 1.5 inches? the tein's say 1.5, but then they give specs sayign 1.8 in the back and 1.7 in the front.

H&R Sport or Eibach Pro-Kit should be around there. Both can be found on TireRack (tirerack.com)

Oh and be prepared to buy a camber kit very soon. Or at least have an old set of wheels to use until you get one. Im idiotic so I've been driving around on a 1.75 drop for like 4-5 months WITHOUT ever getting camber back to spec. yeah I suck. but my new tires are worn on one side because of this, and im too lazy to get the camber kit.
