2000 Lincoln LS HELP!!!!

having prolbem with an 00 Lincoln LS!!!! i drove it 20 miles to my parents house wednesday morning to switch off the dubs to the stock rims and drove back to the house... with no problems.... today when my roomate started it... he said the check engine light came on and was flashing .. and the motor seems to jerk at low speeds and high speeds... what is wrong????
