For some reason when im driving fast and my car hits the upper rpm's i start getting this vibrating noise coming from my shifter...i still have the stock auto shifter. and although i have a new tranny in there it was still doing it before but now its worse...any suggestions?

polys are stiffer and therefore cause more vibrations. I m trying to think, mine might rattle but idk

Are you sure the drive shaft weight is there?

ok, but you need to spot match the location, kinda like balancing a tire. So, when yuo remove a drive shaft, you need to mark the yoke ends and the out put shaft and diff so your still in balance when you put it all back together.

aluminum ones dont have those little weight on them do they? You could just pick up one of those... I dont know where you could go to have your driveshaft balanced

if the weight is on but not on the right side all one would have to do is unbolt it from the rear, rotate it 180 degrees and bolt it back up
but aluminum ones dont have weights on em AFAIK
