alright another question...major problems with my cavi

Alright i posted awhile back about some burning smells in my car, well i got my recall done the other day after smoke started coming out of my steering column. I thought everything was going to be good after that but noooo. I picked up my car from the dealership right as the way were closing, when i got in i noticed that the car was idling pretty high but didnt think much about it. My gas gauge was showing below E so i pulled across the street and put $15 in gas in. When i started it back up it showed i had a full tank which wouldnt be right. So then as i pulled onto the interstate to drive home i was picking up speed...all the while my gas gauge had dropped back below E again and my temperature guage was actually going down towards 100.....and on top of all this my car wouldnt seem to shift from 3rd to 4th(its an automatic too) I was going around 45 mph with the engine humming awful loud and i was actually to the point of being scared to take it any where over 50. Oh wait theres more, so i finally reach my destination, when i put the car in park, it acted like i had my foot on the gas and began revving up the engine so i just turned the car off.

I know this car is a piece of crap and im now ready to get a new vehicle but i would like to know what is up with to see if maybe i can get it fixed before i do that. About the not shifting I was told maybe a vaccuum hose was maybe pulled out but no other insight to what the rest of my problems are. Any advice, comments are very much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

LOL sorry i just think that funny. You finally get what you think is a car in better condition yet its in worse. I would bring it back to the dealer.
