Hey I got a 92 integra coupe and i plan on buying a JDM B18C itr which you all know brings a hydraulic tranny. Would I still get all the power of the motor useing a cable tranny such as Y1 cable tranny or by using the hasport motor mount which lets you use the hydraulic tranny if you got info get at me. Oh yeah and if its a hard swap

don't shortchange yourself by using a cable tranny....it comes w/ hydraulic for a reason....as for the difficulty, i wouldn't have any idea because i've never done a swap before, just rebuilds..

the swap is easy except with a few wire extentions. but go with the hydraulic tranny u will lose power with the cable

eh, honestly for the trouble you will have to go through to do the hydraulic swap I would just go with a Y1 tranny or better yet find a jdm b16 tranny with lsd. A tranny can't "lose" power, its the gear ratios you need to look at. Yes the type R tranny has very good ratios for acceleration, however you can find a cable tranny that will net you similar times. besides you may be able to sell the type r tranny for twice as much as one of these cable tranny's will cost, plus save you time and money from the swap. so you will wind up with a wad of cash you can sink into the motor.

how is it easy except for a few wire extensions? going from a cable tranny to a hydraulic tranny I would assume you will need to run lines, mount slave cylinder, resevoir, possible new pedal assembly, etc, etc? how could it be just a few wire extensions?
