i have a 2000 xls 4.0l ohv my windshield washer in the front does not work
the rear washer does work i have changed the pump but the front still
does
not work both front and rear works off the same pump i also changed the
multi function switch for other reasons but still no washer in the front
if you push the button about 30 time it will work once or twice but thats
it any clues on the cause of this problem would be great because we have
been geting alot of snow so all that dam salt gets all over the window
with no way af washing it

i had this problem on my truck, you got to pop open the plastic piece where you got the wiper blades, and there are 2 hoses that connect to pump, i had those hoses loose or disconnected. they break easy because the end pieces are plastic, someshit like that, i remember i had to fix it aswell

behind the passenger side headlight like right under the maf sensor you will see a black box open it up it's the one in the top left corner if your standing infront of the headlight

Thank you, that was it for me to. I have taken the engine totally out of the explorer once and never noticed that distribution box there. it was the top right one on my '98. Thanks!!
