reverse lights don't work

i have a 1996 328is BMW, my reverse lights don't work at all, and i have tried replacing the bulbs in both tail lights and i checked the fuses. does anyone have any other ideas that would help me fix the problem

is it auto or manual? Manual g/box- reverse lamp switch most likely. and auto possibley out of adjustment at linkage. check your fuses first.
