How TRUE IS this. Actually is this possible?? No bigger injectors no fuel management system.. I am looking into boosting my 1992 D16A9 civic hatch and am looking for a fuel management combination and well from what this guy did all he used a fuel regulator.. I was looking the apiex system, with bigger injectors and a fuel regulator. But if i can avoid the cost i would just go with the fuel regulator for now seeing that i intend to run 5-6 psi. So turbo guys I say to you how true is this and what is the cheapest fuel management combination for my project.

I definately would NOT run a turbo without at least some kind of fuel increase, thats just dumb.

if you have to, save for what you need to get the job done. Cutting corners(and poor tuning) is what blows motors. do it right the first time and you wont have to buy more later anyways.

in any turbo application, i would invest in a standalone fuel management system. there is a guy name st00pid over on Superhonda.com and he ran 20psi on a stock LS motor. only modification to the block was a blockguard. he is very good with management system. send him an email sometimes. he gladly help you. his email is st00pidr@aol.com

Hey man thanks I sent him an e-mail and looks like an FMU. Up until what boosting range can i use an FMU? So in other words when should i have to start looking at better fuel systems?

i'd forget about the fmu. just get big injectors, a good fuel pump and an afc. read my old post on poorman's hondata.
