Got this from the WERA board. Someone try it out and let me know if it really works before I buy one. Seems similar to the $20 Fuel Saver that wraps around your fuel line.

"Want to save 10 to 30 cents on every dollar you spend on fuel forever never wears out never repalce .Energycel will do this for you . Check out the video from news channel 3 memphis
then buy one try it then if you want i can set up up as a dealer

Cycle Werkz

price is $230.00 but will pay for itself very fast. figure what it cost u in fuel to go to a race then figure it with a 20% decrease in fuel cost now whats that worth!!! Works on gas and diesel engines even semi trucks

I dunno, for $230, I don't think I'm going to risk it. I ve seen other research that said fuel line magnets are a waste.

and, damn, 4-6 weeks for delivery? it's been 15 years since I've heard of a place doing that

BlenderWizard

I've got some old Hard Drive magnets I might try and rig on to my fuel line to see if they have any effect but, that won't be until the holidays. :D

I have a friend who is a mechanical engineer, and he says those things are totally bogus

yeah, i agree with blenderwizard....I remember the infomercials on these... "It breaks up the fuel molecules into smaller pieces for better atomization." Who's the dude with a microscope and a clear fuel line, watching this process happen, hmmmm?

Guys,

Go to the dollar store, pick up magnets, trace your fuel line with them, then wrap with foil.

Test your mpg, i.e., change your driving habits.

Then throw the magnets in a plastic jug and sell for 300 bucks. You must include directions and some engineering data.

Sit back and collect the bootie!!

Post any results

I will be the 1st one to invest.

Yeah, so how is it that a magnet affects something that is non-ferrous?

Get your $$ back if it doesn't work....right??? I do track days and your right, with all tracks being at least 250 miles away, it would really help out.

I have no idea if this works or not. Just adding more fuel to the fire. Perhaps someone has already tried this and can enlighten us. The tracks are 2-6 hrs away for me, so it would pay for itself in one race season. I didn't see anything about guaranteed results either.

If you want to try magnets, go down to walmart and buy the cheapest drill you can and tear the magnets out of the motor. Then duct tape them around the fuel line. $15 fuel saver. Oh, be sure to let us know how you trippeled your gas mileage and gained 100 hp.

lol
