First these cars are a piece of shit. my speakers are going out (an no, I do not listen to the music loud because my kids are in the car)
second the back window is sticking
third smoke fills the cabin
fourth the damn trunk switch went out on me.
Does anyone have a good place to buy the original speakers?
Does anyone have a good place to buy the trunk switch with the part number?

Most any 5x7 speaker will fit in the doors. I replaced mine with Alpine model sps-507a and I like them MUCH better than the factory whizzers. I tossed the originals, though...
Trunk switch... You sure it's the button and not the solenoid? Does it work with your key fob? If it's the button, you probably only need to remove it and clean the contacts. A product from Caig, called "DeoxIT" works well. If you can disassemble the switch to expose the contacts, I've found that scotchbrite or pen erasers work well to clean them.
The smoke is probably from the leaking passenger valve cover. Well documented. Easy fix.
Sticking window... please elaborate...

Reply to : Thank you for the information!!! I wish I would have asked you sooner! I could not for the life of me figure out the size! I went ahead and ordered new ones so that I can get them installed and get this car sold.

Reply to: The trunk will open with the remote but not with the switch in the car. What is your advice on this? And how do I get it fixed?

Reply to: I am not familar with this, what do you mean the passenger valve cover?
Sticking window... please elaborate...
Reply To: when I try to roll down the window sometimes it simply will not go down. Not even budge. I think there might be a short in the cable to that door. What do you think?
Thank you again for your replies!!

The valve covers in the early V8 cars had a tendency to leak. The passenger side drips right onto the exhaust manifold and the cabin air intake is very near there, so any burning oil fumes have a tendency to be drawn in, especially while stopped at a light (or whatever). The oil also has a tendency to puddle up in the sparkplug wells and cause coil issues after a while.
It's not tough to replace the seals (do both sides at once.), but you have to remove a lot of crap to get to them. The gaskets are about $25 each.
I had mine replaced under warranty, so I don't know exactly what it would cost to have the shop do it. I'd estimate $200-$300 because of all the labor.
I tried to find a trunk switch in the www.Fordpartsnetwork.com (http://www.Fordpartsnetwork.com) parts catalog, but didn't come up with anything. You might have to talk to the parts desk or email Torrie (owner, fordpartsnetwork). My car doesn't even HAVE that button. I don't know where it would even be located (glovebox?)...
Does the window make any noise? Intermittent in-ops are generally electrical related... Take the door panel off and check all the connections, blow out the swtiches with compressed air and contact cleaner, etc. Shake, pull (firm, but gently) the wiring, etc. while pressing the button to see if you can replicate the problem. Intermittent problems suck. It takes time to track down the source. You just have to rule out one thing at a time and start at one end of the system and work your way through it. I had an intermittent no-start problem with a Jeep once that took over a year to track down...
