Audio Question

I have a 1994 jetta gl 1.9l turbo diesel 5 speed tranny.....

Im replacing the radio with a pioneer deck and heard that the radia had to match the speakers or soemthing.


It should just basically plug in and go when i get the right wiring harness for it should it not?

Yeah it should just plug and play no matter what mix and match you have for speakers and head unit
