Hi there, I'm new to this forum on car modeling; Thought I'd introduce myself and say that car modeling is one of my major passions. It's great to go to a major forum like this one and learn more tips and tricks, and where to buy hard to find kits, other than on www.hlj.com ...
I'm a plastic model car enthusiast, needless to say, and I mainly specialize in Fujimi and Aoshima 1/24 car kits.
I've been doing this hobby since I was 10, and learn a LOT over the years, especially with small details on the interiors.

It will take me a while to post it online, don't have a scanner. Polaroid pics are just way too grainy to show the true quality of my work. I admit my work is not as good as some of the modelers I've seen, but here's a partial list of kits I've completed just today.
Tamiya Celica GT-Four; Painted with Silver Leaf...
Tamiya Skyline GTR R32, Painted in Gun Metal...
Fujimi Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII, Painted in Metallic Red
Aoshima Junction Produce UCF-21 Celsior
Aoshima Junction Produce UZS151 Crown majesta
Aoshima GRS182 Toyota Crown
Would you like to hear a tip on detailing, and what's really worked well for me? Particularly for clear lighting, interiors, and window side molding.
Some of the current works I have are:
R34 Skyline Convertible Conversion (Yes, I'm sure it's been done, but I'm curious about how a Skyline looks as a convertible)
Crown GRS182 Owner Driver Taxi
Honda Accord (PIAA by Tamiya) conversion to stock passenger sedan from racer
Yes, I sometimes buy kits only for the parts.
Oh, I can't post pics yet, but I can explain my system and processes step by step.
