Exhaust Issue

97 Acura 2.2 CL w/HKS Super Dragger Cat-Back, AEM CAI:

Recently, under heavy acceleration, the exhaust will give a little pop between shifts. I'm not talking WOT, but maybe 70% throttle and it will give a pop-pop sort of backfiring noise. It's not really bad but I still notice it and I'm now somewhat concerned. I haven't actually had time to check a single thing on it yet, but I was just thinking of tackling the problem this weekend and thought I'd post it. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

I have recently installed a custom cat back. It does the same thing. Not sure what it is but I kind of like it. The pop isn't to loud just a quiet pop inbetween shifts under moderate(city) acceleration. I'm not worrying about it, I figure it's due to the exhaust modification and the fact that I have no resonator and the diameter of the pipe is 2.25 inches. What is your exhaust set up?

CivicRacerX- I've been thinking about it and it maybe the exhaust tip. The one that I have on my car is 4.5inches. That maybe some help.

Blackbob- The pop is ok. It happens when shifting, it's not continuous. It's low as well so I figure that I can live with it. I actually like, I makes me feel big. :-)
