I have a 2002 grand am and the drivers side headlight is burnt out and I need to replace it. The problem is the two black "quick clips" arent coming out. What do I use to pull them up so the headlight will pull out?? and do they pull hard or should they come out easy?

They require a good tug, especially if they've never been removed before. A little spray lube and a pair of pliers will help.

Welcome to the forum. I've always found the trick was you need to tilt / push them TOWARD the engine, and then pull up. Should come out easily if you do that.

Do watch out for those tabs. They are usually sharp with burrs, and will cut into your thumb/fingers. I usualy use a tool, pliers or screw driver, lik richtazz said.. just my 2cents
