I recently replaced my blower motor, but now my digital climate control panel will flash and because I have dual climate I only now get warm air out of the driver's side mid range setting. Everything else is cold air from passenger side, windshield and floor. It is December and verrrry cold were I live, so if some one could help that would be great.

Hello All . I too am having a similar problem with my 1995 LeSabre . In my case I have warm air from the defroster, mid level, and floor on the drivers side but the passenger side is very cold. Even the rear vent for the back seat blows warm but the passenger side is cold in all three places. I would imagine our problems have a similar cause. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like the actuator for the blender door is bad in both cases. It is located behind the glove box and looks like this;

Hello HotZ28,
Thanks for the response. As of this morning the problem seems intermittant. Today with the digital control turned up to 90 hot air began to blow from the passenger side as well as the drivers. First, this wasn't the case yesterday when you'd never get warm passenger air at any setting. Secondly, today you had to set at 90 to get warm passenger air, any lower setpoint and it was cold. I am wondering if the sensors could be at fault in addition to or instead of the actuator you speak of. The temperature readout said it was 135 degrees out at one point. Its winter here in MA . Do you know how many sensors there are and where they are located or is this still indicative of the actuator. I appreciate your help.

Actuator problems start out being intermittent and before long they will not respond at all to any setting. If you are reading an outside temp of 135 deg in MA this time of year, you also have a bad outside ambient temperature sensor. It is located between the grill and radiator, cost about 15 bucks to replace. (Pic below) Do that first and see what happens to the system. The control unit depends on feedback from all sensors, inside & out.

Hello Hot Z28,
Thanks for the information. I will try to pick up a new outside sensor this weekend and see what happens. Thanks Again

Would it be possible to post a photo of the actuator again (for the '96 Buick Park Avenue), I can't see it on the post (I can see the other photo of the outside temperature sensor)? Also, could someone please post the GM / AC Delco Part Number?
I am having the same problems as mentioned above. How do you replace the actuator? If replacing the actuaor doesn't stop the flashing on the climate control screen and stop the hot air flow blowing for the first couple of minutes in summer, what can be done? I'm fairly new at this, and would appreciate your help.
