Im sure this is more of a general question but I've never had a car with the problem before.
The seatbelt on my car on the drivers side when pulled out does not want to roll back up very quickly. so i end up with a lot of slack in the belt. eventually it rolls up but it is quite annoying. do i need to replace something inside the pillar where the seatbelt rolls into?

you have to replace the seatbelt assembly.
