Keys

I purchased a key from ebay. The MB dealers told me that these are coded to the vin# of each car and cannot be re-programed. Does any one know if they can be re-programed and how to do so? Thanks in advance

Did you ever get this resolved? I am in the same situation.

Mercedes keys cannot be re-programmed to a different car. What the dealerships told you is true unfortunately.
