I have a 1995 Lumina (3.1) it has a little over 72,000 mi on it. We bought it in 98 and we have never changed the fuel filter, (and i dont think the previous owners did either). So i thoight it was time for a change, i mean it cant hurt and its under 10$ for the filter. I went to autozone and bought the filter, pulled my car in the garage and realized I had no idea what I was doing. Anyways, basicly i need full instructions on how to replace the fuel filter, what tools i need, and how long it will take. Thanks in advance for all the great info.

The fuel filter is located behind the gas tank. You'll need a set of metric wrenches to remove the filter. When installing the new one, make sure the arrow on the new filter points the same direction as the old one. It shouldn't take over 15 min.
