upgrading the fuel system on my 2000 altima. im looking at some 50lbs/hr injectors. but they require a new fuel rail...which i cant find anywhere. i heard that the aftermarket fuel rails for the 240SX will fit. anyone who can give me any info about the KA24DE fuel system. please let me know, so i dont blow it up.

Do you understand stoichiometric? Maybe you have a plan to control and reprogram the fuel mixture that will still be controlled by the ECM. Adding more fuel to an engine without adding more compression or more oxygen to burn more fuel won't make more horsepower. Do you think that may be why there isn't a fuel rail available?

i have a 3 and half inch intake, and the OBX headers, and a striaght through exhaust after that. ever since i did that, my engine temp has been running high. so i have come to the conclusion my air to fuel ratio is to lean. therefore, i was thinking bigger injectors. what do you think?

i have a 3 and half inch intake, another 3 inch pipe running to the lower right corner to draw in fresh, cooler air from outside the engine compartment, new headers, and a striaght through exhaust after that. ever since i did that, my engine temp has been running high. so i have come to the conclusion my air to fuel ratio is to lean and will or is causing damage. therefore, i was thinking bigger injectors to compensate. what do you think?

I think those mods are not the cause of running warmer. Your A/F mixture is still being controlled by the ECM. Larger injectors allow the potential for flowing more fuel if there were a need to maintain optimum A/F mixture. Greater injector flow rating doesn't increase the amount of fuel just because the injectors are capable.

If your SES light isn't on, you can bet your A/F ratio is optimum. Nissan's top fuel system engineer couldn't guess at A/F ratio with out test equipment. Have you moved the distributor? You evidently understand CAI benefit enough to create your own intake. Do you know what happens if you go through a puddle of water? Do you have a snorkle relief built into the intake? If you haven't yet, click on stoichiometric, and then, "How Stuff Works" has great info explaining the proccess of Computer Controlled Engines.
