completed...... '05 Corvette convertible

Hi, I built this box stock, except I used the brakes, cross-flag decals, and outside rear view mirror "glass" from the coupe kit.

I used the custom wheels that come with the kit, and I painted it with Tamiya clear red spray over Tamiya silver leaf spray.

I'm shocked at how nice the custom rims are...they suit the car well, and aren't at all retro. Maybe I do need one of these, if I can get over the lack of decals.

I have to say that is a very nice model. But out of curiosity, i must wonder if anyone notices very distinct similarities between the new Corvette and the Dodge Viper. They have always been very cool and very different cars, but it seems that Chevy is starting to copy Dodge... :disappoin
