After sitting for about 1yr she runs great. After about 1 month now I get a "click no crank" OR starts and runs fine. When she 'click and no crank' I can sometimes play with the clutch petal and find a sweet spot to start. The hydraulic clutch and starter seem to perform fine when she does run; it is just a gamble now to start.

Is there a clutch engagement sensor? or possible starter solenoid?

TIA for any help, I'm new to these forums. I'm a decent mechanic but electrical/cpu probblems drive me nutz

There is a switch which is actuated off of the clutch pedal. However, if you hear the clicking sound when the clutch pedal is pressed, then this switch is probably okay. Ensure that your battery and its connections are okay at both ends. Another thing that you can try is jumpering out the solenoid which would eliminate its contacts. Finally, if all of that looks okay, then you probably have a bad starter; worn brushes or commutator.
