Electrical Short - Dome Circuit - 91 Laredo

Well, I've finally got a little closer to the source of the short in my dome light circuit (which also controls the power locks and radio memory). Found that if I disconnect the harness leading into the passenger front door, the problem goes away. Prior, the fuse would pop the instant the door was opened. Since it's likely a positive side short, do you think that it's the switch itself or more likely a wire rubbed through? Haven't seen a wiring diagram to see how the circuit is laid out.

I also am wondering how the dome light circuit works. Right now, the map lights function but lights don't come on when you open the door. Is the dome light circuit contained within the same light fixture as the map lights?
