I have a 2002 honda civic LX, I bought it because I needed a car.But I soon realised that it's not very fast. And I haven't found many mods for it.So I'm thinking of doing an engine swap. What is the best engine that will fit in my car? What other mods will I have to do that come with the engine swap? What's up with emissions, when I go to emissions will I fail because the motor is different,or do they not care about the engine that is in the car,and do the test accprding to the engine?

you need to ask yourself these questions, as you ponder what you think you want to do with your car.
what's the current milage on the car?
what shape is the car in, generally?
what shape is the engine in, generally?
how much money do you have to spend on it? be realistic.
how much car mechanical experiance do you have? be realistic.
how much time do you have to work on the car? again, be realistic.
is this your only car, or will it be your daily driver?
if you have answered all of these and still think you want to do something to your car, we need the answers to them.
as for the emissions, i would check with the local bmv website. it depends. some areas are like mine (emissions testing? what's that?) and some are like california (you farted, and it made you fail the emissions testing)... I have no idea how it is where you are.
Not trying to be hard on you, but trying to help you realize that maybe screwing with your ride isn't the best thing to do.

if he has the money he just needs to know what he wants and get it to a shop who knows what their doing...but you do need to be more specific in your post because the more info you give us the more we can give back

Well, let us know how much you want to spend, or what you want to do, and we can maybe give you more of an idea of your cost/route to take. also, searching the forums is a good way to get info. the FAQ in the general Honda area, as well as in the 6th gen (96-00) civic area, is a good place to start.
