budget issues

alright now ive saved about $1200 for now but i just might be able to bump that up to $1500...with a LS whats the best thing i could do to make it faster? i find this might be a newbish question but i think f/i is out of my price range...this is ALL im going to have to mod it because the rest of my paychecks from now on is going towards insurance/gas and school and other needed things...

402s still can take F/I down the road.
