97 Pontiac SunFire Ingition Switch

Hey guys,
My sisters sunfire has a problem with the ignition key....it won't turn. You used to be able to get it to turn by moving the steering wheel but no dice ith that tonight..anyone know what I can do? Anyone have any instructions on changing the switch out out just busting it all together so she doesn't need a key for now....she's stuck

Sounds like its more of a problem with tumbler mechanism ,I wouldnt recomend breaking it ,and if youv'e got airbags be careful when working on it,I'd get a Haynes repair manual
