I was reading in older posts and someone said that AC Delco spark plug wires make an engine run better i.e the 3.8L V6. Why? What makes the AC Delco wires better than napa's best wires other than the cost?

I really don't know if that is the case or not. The AC delco wires are designed for the particular application and meet the OEM requirements to make sure that everything is matched, ie coil, wires and plugs. But as long as the wires and etc are manufactured to OEM specs then I really don't think there would be any noticable difference between them. I have used both and see no difference in either reliability or performance. Of course someone will probably disagree with me based on their particular experiences.

I think that it is just personal liking. I dont know if people have thought about the weather, oil changes and stuff. It might not have even been the spark plugs
