i HAVE A 97 BLAZER--EQUIPPED WITH THE EVER SO FAMOUS 4L60E.Tranny was completely shot-so we put another one in .(used) I know there was nothing wrong with the tranny when we took it out--so there shouldnt be anything wrong with it now!?! After putting everything back together and going for a test drive--(only to the local auto parts store--1/4 mile away.) Everything worked wonderful!! I was so relieved!! I came out of the store--pulled out of the parking lot--and BAM--nothing but 2nd and 3rd. Absolutely no 1st or o/d. Since then we have replaced shift solenoids, manifold pressure switch, PRNDL switch, and computer. I have checked power to the tranny (good 12v), tranny fuse, and I have looked for pinched or stripped wires. This has to be something simple--but it has me completely stumped. I hope someone out there can help. --Thanks !

forgot to add that I have no codes to go on. When we hooked the scanner to it--it shows that everything is working as it should. But ---it isn't. -------------------------------Anyone got any suggestions?

thanks for the reply. We have already checked the solenoids, and replaced them. I will double check the power supply to them. Checked it once and it was good --but maybe something else I have done has changed that now???????? Gotta get this thing running right--or santa will be on foot this year--not to mention the elves will all be on strike --due to lack of pay.!!LOL Thanks again!

Just an update-- we had a friend who works at a tranny shop come over and hook his top of the line scanner to it--he completely ruled out anything electrical. Scanner checked every wire --every fuse --every everything!!!!! Printed out a big page of numbers for us--of course I had no idea what they meant --but everything is working as it shouldbe on that end. So we are pulling the tranny as I speak to tear it apart and see whats going on!! I'll post later with what we find.--Anyone out there with any ideas? Still open to all ideas. Thanks for everything so far. I hope to have good news when I return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
