aurora is dying

my aurora is a 98 with 128,000 miles on it and i am having tranny issues. the other day i felt something in the tranny go bad. and service vehicle soon light flashed. now after power was shut off it seems fine but don't want to be stranded on highway so i am gonna trade her in. either getting 2005 pontiac bonneville sle or g6 gtp. any thoughts????

That would be my choice for a sedan also. 280HP, 32 MPG HWY...and it will actually work!
