alternator in89 CRX

Can I rebuild the alternator in my 89 CRX with a brush kit? If so where can I get one? I have a new starter in the box that I don't need if any one needs it. Maybe we can make a trade for an alternator if it can't be rebuilt. If I can rebuild it then who ever needs the starter can have it, it does me no good. It is a brand new starter. Waited to long to take it back to Napa. Thank you all

I "rebuilt" my alternator with new brushes from the dealer however the alternator only lasted a few months before the rectifier failed. So I recommend you get a rebuilt unit. GL
