How Hard Is It To Change Intake Man. On A 96 4.3 Blazer ? Any Tips .

Raditor, water pump, thermastat, now intake gasket, all in 1 month, no one can tell me dex cool is not the prob. They should have pay are bills & hours :banghead:

Not too hard. I had time on my side. If you have never done something like this before, make sure you have at least one full day. The whole job took me 8 to 10 hours. Again, I had time and took my time and made sure I didn't miss anything. Took pictures of tear down and assemly. I have a Haynes manual and this forum and did alot of reading here. You can get a felpro lower intake gasket kit from NAPA. It also comes with the upper plenum gaskets. Cost was 38 dollars. Hope that helps.

Oh boy, lol I of course did mine. lookin back it was not bad at all. never had to fix anything so involved til then. now i feel i can take on the world.lol just remember when you get all the bolts out. take the manifold off slowly and carefully. cause all the junk in there will fall into the galley. and it is a bitch to clean it out of there. and mark your dist. but that all is in the thread.
