Hey I am thinking of getting a struttower brace. Im a little confused on what one to get. Hear that I would have to get the SS one then I hear something else. Could someon clear this up for me. I have a 1995 3.4 V6 camaro, And dont know if any of the braces will fit or not. could anyone tell me what one to get and if you have one in your car or not. (are they worth getting)

If you want a strut tower brace you have to get one that fits your car it's made for the 3.4 but the SS uses the same one. The brace can't go stright across the engine bay same problem with the SS on the 97s because the air box that sits on top of the engine gets in the way. So one for a 3.4 or an SS same thing. Here is a pic from rksport of what it should look like http://www.rksport.com/image?product_id=01032010&size=full

I just ordered one for my 3.4L and it is the same as the one for the SS. At least that is what it said on the invoice from the company I ordered it from. Check out www.Hotpart.com they have really good prices and great cust. service...

a strut brace isnt going to do anything, and your basicly spending $100 for looks under the hood and is useless without subframe braces, and upgraded sway bars... why not buy one of those first that will actually do something without the other 2

Maybe because eventually those will get upgraded too? Duh

But why not do one of them first, that will actually make a difference without the others, unline the strut brace, is what i was getting at... duh?

How can you say that a strut tower brace won't do anything by itself? Do you know the exact physics of the cars when they corner? I doubt it. All I am saying is that I will probably upgrade the rest of the suspension one day too, but until then I will do the cheapest and easiest thing first. This thread was just a question about which one ROUDA should get, and there were answers and help before you came in with your negative attitude. I hate people on this site that only bring negativity to ideas like this, all you know how to do is tell other people how bad their ideas are probably just because you don't have any ideas or just can't make them happen for whatever other reasons.

That is incorrect. I have one on my Z28 and it helped tighten up the front end and reduced tire shutter on bad roads. Granted, it will work even better when coupled with a set of SFCs and LCAs, but I noticed a difference in how my car felt immediately after installing it.
