trunk strut pics?!?!?!

anybody have pics of there trunk strus or something I can go off of, I went to autozone and get two new ones and went to replace them but missing something...member thieves stole everything on car so please damnit dont say look at other side or put them on how you took them off....save some you people some crap talk....thanks in advance...need pics for crx not hatch thanks

I apoligize for the mess inside my car, its been a busy week.

Not to hijack... just to mention I have one hatch strut on my crx cuz the other side is stripped at the bolt hole so I use vice grips. The thing fell on my head one time and I think it may happen again. It really makes me want a trunk sometimes... haha :banghead:

I aint liking your smart ass comments already...aint gonna make it on here for long before nobody wants to talk or help you...but thanks turtle they helped a lil but I just went got longer bolts and it works like a champ now...its just on the new struts for trunks they use the bolts instead of the round points on the bottoms...tops still use the ball point

And the vice grips hold the hatch strut taught within the sleeve (not enough pressure to keep the weight in the air). It works most of the time and is done by many mechanics. However, I do not spend a lot of time under there. The CRX hatch is really heavy because of the vertical window connected to it.
