Auto guage light

the bulb/led for when my car is in D4 went out but all the others work fine. maybe a light burnt out in the dash or do you guys think maybe some sensor from the shifter isnt getting the signal across to light up the d4 on the guage?
and would any of those scenarios be easy to repair?
ill get pics once my car is repaired (slid through an intersection on an icy night and got t-boned :disappoin )

its probably the light bulb, you should check to see if it works by taking out the gauge and changin it with another that works. be carefull thou, they tend to sotp working just by touching on the glass part.
