ok i replaced my starter in the summer than the igniton switch about a month ago because it was not working properly but now when i turn on my car the starter turns the motor over but it turns off like in one sec, and throletting it dosent help either it takes me like at least 10 tries to turn it on. Please let me know if you have any idea of how to fix this problem.

first, check and see if the plugs are getting spark. if they are, check and see if the injectors are firing fuel. if they are, then you may have a compression problem.

Kathrine1, You state "it does not turn over". The ign module does not control the motor turning over, the starter does. Does you car have a automatic or manual transmission? Does it turn over but not start (fire)?

Rruddman, what you described was a starter drive that kicks out from the flywheel prior to the engine firing. You turn it over, it cranks for a few turns and stops cranking, is that what is happening? if it is, its a starter issue.
